Stereotype Me is a multi-pane exploitable image featuring several women holding signs displaying various stereotypes followed by a satirical custom 4th panel.

Origin

On March 5th, 2007, DeviantArtist Loserology posted a four-pane image titled "Stereotype Me," featuring photographs of young women holding signs representing various stereotypes, including "I'm Punk So I Must Rebel," "I'm Asian So I Must Like Maths," "I Dye My Hair Crazy Colours So I Must Be Looking For Attention" and "I'm a Person So I Must Be Stereotyped" (shown below, left). On June 11th, 2011, Redditor Skylarity uploaded a photoshopped version of the image featuring a pizza in the bottom-right panel with a sign saying "I'm a pizza so I must taste fucking amazing" to /r/funny^[4] (shown below, right).

Spread

On September 10th, 2011, FunnyJunk^[2] user carocat reposted the pizza image. On June 30th, 2015, a Runescape-themed version of the image was submitted to the /r/2007scape subreddit, where it gathered upwards of 2,500 votes (92% upvoted) and 130 comments prior to being archived. On April 17th, 2016, Redditor DatOneGuy-69 submitted a version of the image featuring Hide the Pain Harold holding a sign reading "I make memes so I must have chronic depression and want to kill myself" (shown below). Prior to being archived, the post gained over 1,400 votes (94% upvoted) and 45 comments on /r/meirl.^[3]

On January 13th, 2017, a photoshop of the image featuring a holographic project of the character Sio Bibble from the 1999 Star Wars film The Phantom Menace was submitted to the Star Wars Sithposting Facebook^[6] page, where it gained over 1,800 reactions and 150 shares over the next two months (shown below, left). On March 16th, Redditor YumikuriPF uploaded the image with PewDiePie in the final panel holding with a sign referencing his antisemitism YouTube controversy to /r/MemeEconomy^[5] (shown below, right).
