YMC Gigglesaurus, also known as Gigglesaurus or @_flossinator_, is a Young Money Clan TikToker and Fortnite player known on TikTok for recreating viral TikTok sounds with his young, British accent. He's simply known to many as the "British kid on TikTok." Gigglesaurus gained a following in 2023, as many of his TikTok sounds became memes that added onto pre-existing meme trends, providing a variant sound.

Online History

On June 4th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @_flossinator_ (known as YMC Gigglesaurus) posted his first, still-accessible video which followed the I Love You, MrBeast trend, replacing MrBeast which the Fortnite skin Rippley. The video received roughly 1.5 million plays and 123,900 likes in two months (shown below).

Gigglesaurus continued to amass virality on June 7th and June 8th, 2023, across two TikToks^[2]^[3] that gained roughly 4.5 million plays and 4 million plays respectively (shown below, left and right). Both videos referenced Miles Morales and the then-recent memes from the Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse movie such as Canon Events.

Gigglesaurus TikTok Sounds

Going into mid-2023, Gigglesaurus began making variants of viral TikTok sounds. For instance, he started a variant sound^[4] of the Here We Go Go Go Go on an Adventure meme, gaining over 3,700 uses (origin video shown below, left). On July 7th, Gigglesaurus started a variant sound^[5] of the I Be Poppin' Bottles meme, gaining over 23,700 uses (origin video shown below, right).

Awareness

Predominantly starting in August 2023, others on TikTok started to make content that referenced Gigglesaurus, alluding to a spread in the awareness of his page. For instance, on August 9th, 2023, TikToker^[6] @lucashewn posted a video about Gigglesaurus, using his Life Is Roblox sound, gaining roughly 1.4 million plays and 186,300 likes in 15 days (shown below, left). On August 8th, 2023, TikToker^[7] @abusivefather54 posted a Central Cee song mashed with Gigglesaurus' rapping, earning roughly 675,500 plays and 82,200 likes in 16 days (shown below, right).
