The video was a cropped screen-recording seemingly of a Snapchat story. In one day, the video received roughly 3.2 million plays and 827,600 likes (shown below). Many of the comments left on the video mentioned a teacher named Coach Heise.

The account posted several angles of the altercation, including one TikTok,^[3] posted on October 24th, which received roughly 1.3 million plays 158,300 likes in less than a day (shown below, right).

As the video gained traction on TikTok, it was reposted by X^[4] user @Yourboyclarence on October 24th, 2023, who captioned it, "I just screamed so loud 💀💀💀💀💀💀," gaining roughly 4.3 million views and 38,600 likes in one day (shown below). The tweet then gained viral quote retweets ^[5] on the day of its upload,

The video also gained a viral repost on iFunny, shared by iFunnier^[6] @Nesty on October 24th, 2023, receiving roughly 13,300 smiles in a day.

In the days that followed the video's virality, many users on TikTok, seemingly students at Hudson High School, continued to document Snapchat posts about the altercation. For instance, on October 25th, 2023, TikToker^[7] @daltoncurry posted a video of the blue-haired student calling someone after the incident, gaining roughly 1 million plays and 195,400 likes in one day (shown below).
