2023 Resurgence

In mid-April 2023, the tweet regained online popularity, first among K-pop fans who quote tweeted it as a reaction. For example, on April 14th, 2023, Twitter[7] user @sexilarity quote tweeted Lady Gaga's tweet with a photograph of Kim Seok-jin from BTS. The tweet (shown below, left) gained over 1,400 retweets and 11,900 likes in nine days. Later that day, Twitter[8] user @itsmirohh tweeted two photographs of the idol Felix from the band Stray Kids, with the quote tweet gaining over 1,300 retweets and 8,500 likes in the same period (shown below, right).

In the following days, multiple quote tweets of Lady Gaga's tweet by the K-pop community on Twitter went viral. This prompted the tweet to be used as source material for speech-bubbling memes. For example, on April 15th, Twitter[9] user @Ponzuwu quote tweeted it with an image of the Looney Tunes character Taz, with the tweet gaining over 3,000 retweets and 22,100 likes in nine days (shown below, left).
