About

Four Seasons Orlando Hotel Baby refers to memes remixing a viral video of an infant child expressing enthusiasm to stay with his family at the Orlando Four Seasons Hotel. The only word that the baby says in the original video is "me!" but posters and meme makers added audio and voiceover narrating the child's inner thoughts, often in a surrealistic and absurd manner, as the clip became the source of numerous memes in May 2024.

Origin

The original video (seen below) was posted to TikTok by user @sobrizzle, presumably the aunt of the baby, on May 17th, 2024. The eight-second video post received over 15.3 million views and 2.2 million likes over the course of two days and was captioned "If the @Four Seasons Hotels is looking for a baby ambassador my niece got you 😂🤣😂🤣😂."[1]

Comments on the post imagined dialogue said by the baby, earning hundreds of thousands of likes (examples shown below).

Spread

Videos providing more dialogue for the baby spread rapidly across TikTok in the following days as the clip continued garnering virality. For example, TikToker @lifecentral_ posted an early and influential version giving the baby fresh words to say on May 18th, 2024 (seen below), earning over 44 million views and 7.8 million likes in two days.[4]

Some used the video to represent a reaction, such as TikToker @everydaylifewithella, who earned over 1.8 million views and 317,000 likes in one day on May 19th for a video (seen below, left) about enthusiasm for going to TJ Maxx.[2] On May 18th, TikToker @professor_linder received 1.8 million views and 25,000 likes in two days for a video (seen below, right) giving melodramatic dialogue to the baby.[3]

The video also saw viral spread and commentary on other platforms. On X, user @HiThisIsTess made a post (seen below) referencing the video on May 18th, 2024, earning over 225,000 likes in two days.[5]

Others joked and made memes about the size and adult-like qualities of the baby. For example, on May 19th, X user @SomaKazima earned over 67,000 likes in one day for a meme about the large baby character from Rugrats (seen below).[6]

Baby's Trip To Four Seasons Orlando Hotel

Following the virality of the video with the baby, its family did indeed visit the Four Seasons Orlando Hotel. Four Seasons incorporated the baby's visit into a May 26th, 2024, TikTok promotional video (seen below, left), which earned over 7 million views and 1.3 million likes in two days, calling the baby "fully conscious and utterly fabulous."[7]

The baby and her family were also interviewed on ABC News on May 23rd, where again she displayed her seemingly advanced linguistic capabilities. The May 24th TikTok repost by @texturewithoutwords (seen below) of the baby answering a news anchor's question earned over 3.7 million likes and 21 million views over the course of four days.[8]

The baby's aunt, TikTok user @sobrizzle (who changed her profile description to "I'm just her tia, chill"), posted videos from the Four Seasons vacation, earning 8.4 million views and 1.3 million likes in less than a day for the May 27th video (seen below, left) showing the baby dining at the hotel.[9]

Other brands, such as the Atlanta Hawks NBA team, also posted the baby video, including the meme (seen below, right) from May 21st, 2024, which earned over 1.8 million views and 58,000 likes in a week.[10]
