A British TikToker named Beavo (@beavisbrandon) is going viral on Twitter / X and social media mostly because he's not chewing his food.

Beavo, whose real name is Brandon Beavis, has turned his entire TikTok presence into viral videos of his "Dinna!" (his way of saying "dinner"). In the videos, he spouts his famous catchphrases like "Big up!" while seemingly swallowing, without chewing, his objectively strange British Chinese food.

Who Is TikTok's Beavo?

As stated, Beavo's real name is Brandon Beavis and he lives in the Essex region of England. Beavo's online presence started on Instagram where he originally just posted selfies.

From his Instagram, it looks like he played poker at one point. In one post, he stated that he had a "massive run" at the Genting Poker Series back in 2019.

Beavo started posting to TikTok in late 2022. He earned a few videos with over a million plays back then. However, he largely went viral this year.

In many of his early videos, he was singing and rapping like a personal karaoke blog. In others, he's seen fighting and boxing in a training gym. Beavo wouldn't go mega-viral, though, until he started posting eating videos in late 2023. His favorite foods appear to be chippies and the ever-classic full English.

Why Does Beavo Not Chew?

Starting in October 2023, Beavo's viewers realized that the man does not chew his food. He'll maybe take one or two bites but then he seems to swallow it whole, gulping as it goes down. The phenomenon has earned Beavo viral reposts in recent weeks, spreading awareness of him across social media.

Ever since people started noticing his lack of chewing, Beavo's somewhat embraced the humorous backlash. In one November video, Beavo said, "Big up not chewing!" and further stated that he doesn't need to chew. He urged the viewer to just watch as he proved his theory with one big bite.
